We build a frame inside the boat, then the boat is shrink-wrapped and stored outside in our storage area. It is fully insured against loss.
The fuel is stabilized, the motor is greased and fogged (an anticorrosion coating for internal parts, done only on 2stroke motors), and the following items are checked: oil, belts, fuel lines, propeller, power trim systems, shift, throttle and steering cables. For Inboard and Stem-drive motors only; the block and manifolds are also drained and then filled with biodegradable antifreeze. Lower unit lube is topped off on all motors.* (*Changed and charged for if dirty or requested.)
Tune-up & Carburetors
The points, timing, linkage, and carburetor are checked and adjusted. New spark plugs are installed. Additional work on the points, coils, carburetor, etc., extra if re-quired.
Difficult (Corroded) Drive units
If the motor is difficult to disassemble due to corrosion or other mitigating circumstances, there may be an extra charge. This is particularly true regarding motors run in salt water.
$9.50/ft. (plus chemicals) to remove all algae and de-posits (may be some faint staining left). Cleaning under bunks will be an additional $50.00
$65.00 per hour - will be charged for cleaning inside of the boat. We are not responsible for removing old stains and mildew, although most will be removed.
